During the morning session, the NZD/USD pair is declining slightly, testing 0.5800, while market participants expect new drivers to emerge and are closely monitoring the escalation of geopolitical tensions in the Persian Gulf region.

The price is in correction, the probability of decline remains.

On the daily chart, higher-degree wave B is developing, while wave (C) of B is taking shape. On the four-hour time frame, the fifth lower-degree wave 5 of (C) is developing, with wave i of 5 already completed and a local correction as wave ii of 5 nearing completion. If this scenario proves correct, the NZD/USD pair’s upward trend is expected to continue toward the 0.5400–0.5000 zone with a critical stop loss at 0.6086.

During the Asian session, the NZD/USD pair maintains a "bullish" bias, trading around the 0.5863 level. The pair remains supported by the more "hawkish" stance of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, which this month raised the official cash rate by 25 basis points to 2.50%, bringing to an end an almost three-year period of unchanged monetary policy.
